Shawlands fp are looking for experienced amateur players for all positions as they prepare for the forthcoming season ahead 2010-11 to bolster their already strong squads.
We are also interested in players who have played at a good standard at under 21 level, and are looking too move up too the next level, this ensures that there is a level of youth growing within the club at all times as this is the only way clubs will progress and maintain their high standards.
We have two teams at the club who both play on Saturday afternoons in the Scottish amateur league.
Shawlands fp have a very proud tradition and have been running since 1957 mostly playing within the safl organisation.
Players who want to play for shawlands fp must be committed and have a good attitude and desire towards training, match days and be supportive towards fund raisers arranged by the club.
Pre season training will begin at Bellahouston park at 6.45pm on the 30th June and then onto various venues throughout the coming weeks ahead.
Various friendly games will be arranged between these sessions to get players up too match fitness for the start of the season, which we think will start maybe the last week in august.
If this sounds like the challenge you are requiring at this stage in your career then contact us either by answering to this thread or contacting through our club website at www.shawlands.amateurfootballclub.co.uk and send us a email through the contact us page Or you can call Dom McInally on 07900928481.
